MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music has seen major international inroads into the Latin pop culture. Una Lady Como Tu (his popular hit song from 2016) received a Colombian Kids Choice Award, 2017. Favorite Song. In Medellin, Sony distributed La Industria Inc. and then released ADN for his debut full-length album. The album reached number 8 within the Top Latin Albums Chart. He then joined Ozuna for the Top Five smash Vaina Loca. He dropped Dopamina the chart-topping sophomore album in the years following. Later in 2021 he performed a duet on TINI's streaming smash single Maldita Foto. 2000, which featured the smash hit La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo is a musician who was born in a musical home. His parents and brothers were both musicians. In interviews, Turizo has said that music is a must. When a young boy was in school, he took guitar as well as the saxophone. While his initial career choice was to be a veterinarian, the brother Julian advised him to go for singing lessons with the help of a Cuban instructor and as a result personally discovering his talent as a performer changed his entire life.
